Madidi National Park

Madidi National Park is one of Bolivia's 22 national protected areas. It was established in 1995, and since a scientific expedition in 2017, Madidi has been considered the region with the greatest biodiversity on the planet.

But that's not all

The Madidi also is home to 496 species of fish, including the dorado and many different species of piranhas, catfish, and others. There are 213 species of amphibians, but these are the least studied, so it comes as no surprise to find species that scientists have not yet discovered.
