Itinerary: 4D/3N PAMPAS DEL YACUMA

Day 1. Friday. Rurrenabaque – Pampas del Yacuma

• At the designated time, pick you up from the airport / bus station / hotel and transfer you to Santa Rosa in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for approximately 1.5 hours. This journey offers an opportunity to observe birds, toucans, capybaras, and sloths.
• We will arrive at the main port of Santa Rosa. Lunch will be served.
• After lunch, we will navigate the Yacuma River for approximately 2 hours, with a high probability of spotting caimans, capybaras, turtles, and a wide variety of birds.
• Upon arrival at the lodge, you will receive a welcome drink and settle into your rooms.
• Dinner and a nighttime hike in the Pampas through the forests to discover nocturnal birds and other animals that inhabit the area.

Day 2. Saturday. Pampas del Yacuma

• At dawn, a boat trip to observe the wildlife at its most active.
• Breakfast followed by a hike through forests and lagoons, exploring the anaconda’s habitat.
• Afterward, we’ll return to the refuge for lunch. Rest.
• In the afternoon, a boat trip “Following the Dolphin’s Dives,” with sightings of pink river dolphins (bogey dolphins) and the opportunity to swim with them—a unique and exciting experience. Return to the refuge.
• After dinner, a nighttime boat trip to observe the bright eyes of caimans and nocturnal birds—a unique experience.

Day 3. Sunday. Pampas del Yacuma – Rurrenabaque

• Breakfast. In the morning, after breakfast, we navigate the river in search of the yellow-headed monkeys (Saimiri boliviensis) and immerse ourselves once again in the wonders of the Yacuma River. Return to the Refuge.
• Lunch, and afterwards, we return by boat to Santa Rosa and by car to Rurrenabaque. Transfer to the hotel.
• Overnight at the hotel (dinner is not included tonight).

Day 4. Monday. Rurrenabaque

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Transfer to the airport.
